Clermont Periodontics and Implant Center is proud to announce that our owner and lead periodontist, Dr. Kerwin Scott, DDS, MS, CHP, will present a continuing education course for the Central Florida Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) titled “Implant Maintenance and Complications Management: A Comprehensive Approach.”

This live CE event will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando North in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

This 2-hour lecture will guide general dentists through a deep dive into:

Applying the ITI SAC assessment tool for complication prevention
When and how to refer for specialty intervention

Dr. Scott, a Meharry Medical College graduate and University of Florida-trained periodontist, brings years of clinical experience and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. As a U.S. military veteran and practicing periodontist in Clermont, FL, Dr. Scott’s patient-centered philosophy emphasizes long-term outcomes, precision, and evidence-based care.
