Carjie also oversees educational initiatives, including our dental hygiene study club with the American Academy of Periodontology, externships with University of Central Florida, University of Florida, and Valencia College, and shadowing experiences for aspiring healthcare students. She and her husband, Dr. Kerwin Scott, co-founded The Education Equalizer Foundation (EEF), where they’ve helped hundreds of students earn millions in scholarships through programs like College PASS and ACT/SAT Prep—paving the way for more students to become doctors.
